An improved hatching device for incubated eggs

An egg hatching device comprises a hatching chamber bonded by perforated walls 10,11 and having means therein for supporting tiers of hatching trays 5 the bottoms 6 of which are solid. A fan 12 situated below the hatching chamber serves to circulate air through the device in the direction indicated by the arrows in Fig. 1 via a heater 14, a humidity regulator 15 and an air filter 16. In order to promote an efficient distribution of air throughout the hatching chamber the side 10 through which air enters the chamber has larger perforations at the bottom than at the top, the arrangement being reversed at the side 11 through which air leaves the chamber.
