Class 100(1) A device enabling paper to be positioned on the delivery table of a printing machine comprises a movable stop arm 2 synchronized with the movement of the grippers conveying the sheets on to the delivery table, the arm 2 being controlled by pivoting of a small crank 5 acting on a stop member 4 carried by a stop shaft 3, the crank 5 being itself controlled from the machine shaft which operates the grippers. Jogging stops 1 are carried by the arm 2 which is fixed to the shaft 3 having the stop member 4 adjacent to the crank 5 which is freely pivoted on the shaft. A spring 16 tends to move the crank 5 into a vertical position where a stop arm 18 thereon engages a fixed stop 17. A rod 6 passes through a hole in the lower end of the crank 5, and a spring 14 encircling the rod presses the lower end against a sleeve 13 adjustable along the rod 6 by a nut 12. The rod 6 is reciprocated to cause the operation of the joggers 1, and the extent to which the joggers move can be adjusted by means of the nut 12. Since the crank 5 is free on the shaft 3, the joggers can be moved away from the pile at any time for removing the sheets.
