Improvements in the construction of garden cloches

A cloche of umbrella type is extended by a pull cord 8 attached to a stem 6 and passing through a central bush 2 to which the frame supports 1 are pivotally secured, the toggle mechanism 3, 4, 5 being connected to the stem 6 which is adapted to be pushed back into the bush 2 to collapse the cloche. The polythene cover 7 is provided with fine ventilation holes preventing admission of water.
