In a drawing office furniture unit, a drawing board may be angularly adjustably mounted on a cantilever arm 4 strapped and bolted to a pedestal 5 which is rigidly secured to a base 9 projecting from the pedestal beneath the arm 4. The base 9 may be of reinforced concrete faced with rubber covered sheet metal, wood or other material, and forms a foot rest. Pedestal 5 is made from angle sections whose casing (not shown) may include drawers, shelves and cupboards.
