A pivotable handle 1 for an article 10 comprises e.g. a plastics-coated metal band riveted at 6 to a holder 3 having a key-hole slot 7 whereby the holder is secured around the neck 5 of an article bolt 8 having a polygonal head 19 and held by a ridge 16 in a leaf spring 15, the head being laterally engaged between the arms of a U-spring 11 so that the handle is held in various pivoted positions by the spring gripping the sides of the head. The handle may be removable. The bolt head may be knurled, the knurling being engaged by the free end of a spring.
