Turbulent bed treatment plant - for granular or powdered materials

The basic material, of mixed grain size, is first separated into a number of different narrower ranges of sizes esp. coarse and fine, e.g. by passing it through a chain of cyclones, and each fraction is processed separately in turbulent layer reactor. The individual reactor column is designed and operated for optimum processing of the sizes of grains fed to it. The fractions are recombined after treatment.
