Ceramic firing tunnel kiln - with atmosphere distribution system

The kiln is fitted with atmosphere circulating fans which draw off atmosphere from the bottom, pref. through the kiln floor, and return it through the ceiling. For this is provided a system with a longitudinal distribution pipe into which branch transverse feed pipes for the ceiling fitted outlet boxed, which extend transversely over the width of the tunnel and have outlets pointing towards the firing and/or inlet zones of the kiln. The system permits subdivision of the kiln into zones and effects even heat distribution in the tunnel.
