The first conveyor is horizontal and serves to pick up and feed the workpiece to the second which, adjacent to the first, can be swivelled about a horizontal shaft adjusted on the frame via a joint controlled by a drive such that the free end, during this swivel motion, moves along a vertical plane. The joint linkages are hinged in the region of the free end of the second conveyor and to the frame section below. The first conveyor (10) is on a support (9) adjustable in height on the frame (1). The swivel shaft (11) of the second conveyor (8) is fitted to the support (9) of the first conveyor (10) and the second conveyor (8) can be adjusted relative to the first (10) normal to its swivel shaft. The joint linkage (5) on the second conveyor extends beyond the joint and is guided at its free end piece in a guide (31) which extends parallel to the swivel shaft adjustment direction.
