Thermodedevelopable product comprising a heavy metal salt (pref. silver behenate) a reducing agent a catalyst (pref. a silver halide) in which the reducing agent is a linear amino reductone, pref. of formula I or II below. where R2 is 6-12C aryl, aralkyl, or alkaryl, R4 is 1-5C alkyl or R2, R4 form a 5-6 membered heterocycle, R3 is 1-5C alkyl, 6-12C aryl or a group -CH-N(R')-R5 where R1 is lower alkyl and R5 is 6-10c aryl; R1 is 1-5C alyl or 6-10C aryl, r6 is 1-5C alkoxy or 6-10C aryl, R7 is 1-5C alkyl, R8 is H, 6-12C aryl, aralkyl, or alkaryl or R7, R8 form a 5-6 membered hetero-cycle. The constituents are dispersed in a binder pref polyvinylbutyral. An increased development rate and image density is obtd.
