Imitation persian lamb pelt - of blended chenille yarns in windings on ground fabric, without clashing contours and striping effects

The nap fibres of chenille yarns used for certain of the windings laid in strip form and bonded on the ground fabric for an imitation of Persian lamb, contain a proportion of fibres much brighter in tone than the others, whilst the remainder of the windings are of chenille yarns consisting of dull toned nap fibres exclusively. The latter are laid in the coarser winding patterns forming single rows of double legged loops with a marked diagonal trend, and these are separated by =1 row(s) of fine windings without any particular directional inclination, in which threads with the blended bright and dull toned nap fibres are used.
