Sepn of x and y chromosome sperm - by application of magnetic and electrostatic fields

The ejaculate is examined visually pref. diluted with an isotonic medium of low conductivity and ionic strength, viscosity 500 cP at 20 degrees, and pH 5.8-6.3 cooled, and allowed to flow without turbulence, through by a magnetic field 1500 gauses the sepn. time being 60-3600 sec. The different types are deflected, collected separately, equilibrated for 4-5 hr. and pelletised.
