Polyester-cotton fibre mixtures are dyed or printed with a dyestuff prepn. contg. water, an acid binder, a dyestuffer or dyestuff mixture, an agent accelerating fixing and other additives, followed by heat-fixing, the dyestuff(s) used being of formula: Fa(A)n (where Fa is the residue of a azo dye free from sulphonic acid and carboxylic acid gps; A is a fibre-reactive gp; and n is 1 or 2). The presence of the fibre-reactive gp. enables the dyeing/printing to be effected in one stage, as it reacts chemically with the cellulose. The reactive gp. may be present in the diazo or coupling component.
