1402349 Purification process for Gn-RH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) ABBOTT LABORATORIES 18 June 1973 [20 June 1972] 28898/73 Heading C3H Biologically pure Gn-RH is prepared by passing a solution of the crude decapeptide p-Glu- His - Trp - Ser - Tyr - Gly - Leu - Arg - Pro- Gly-NH 2 , obtained by removing the protective groups of the corresponding polyprotected decapeptide (optionally purified by passing a solution thereof through a silica gel column) with hydrogen fluoride, first through a column packed with a partially cross-linked dextran gel having affinity for molecular weights of 1000-2000 and subsequently through a second column packed with a partially cross-linked dextran gel having affinity for molecular weights below 1500.
