Splash protected guided flame cutter head - has oxygen pressure operated piston for moving head on cutting the starting hole

The flame-cutter burns a relatively small starting hole. The burner nozzle is not damaged by splashing molten metal produced on starting a cut. The oxygen is used for blowing away any splashing metal. The cutter nozzle is lifted from the sloping position into a normal position by an oxygen pressure actuated piston on cutting the starting hole. The rod and the sleeve are fixed by a screw. The guide arm has a pivot and it guides the arm and burner nozzle. The cylinder with its piston is connected to the oxygen supply. The piston pushes gradually the nozzle into the normal position and an elliptical starting hole is cut.
