Concrete component reinforcement spacer support shackles - with U-base struts arranged to provide three loading points for overlaid mesh

The spacer assembly, for supporting reinforcement elements in e.g. concrete building components, comprises interconnected Y-shaped shackles with straight U-base struts at an angle to each other and parallel to the loading surface. There are at least three such shackles, two or more of these serving as seating for the reinforcing meshes, with their standing legs running vertically. The lengths of the base struts, and the angles enclosed by them, aresuch that a reinforcing mesh laid on top lies on the base struts of a spacer in both rod directions, and at three or more loading points, regardless of the arrangement of the spacers. A number of shackles may be spot-welded together.
