Electric suspended double-rail railway drive - in five parts in spherical form on common axis of rail inside surface

This is a support, guidance and conveying assembly for suspension tracks and loads in tunnelling operation and in operations above ground, with current supply effected on current slide rails mounted in the inside surfaces of the double running rail. The five components, spherically mounted on a common axis, comprise left and right wheel components, nearly semi-spherical; left and right drive components, of ball-segment shape; and centre loading component, likewise of ball-segment shape. The assembly supplies its own drive and braking energy. This is suitable both for short-distance passenger and freight transport.
