The legs which are made of a tubular material are set outside the area of the desk top and on two opposite sides beneath the table top are offset relative to each other by the thickness of the tube whilst on a third side they are set asymmetrical relative to the horizontal axis so that the desks can be stood next to each other without any wasted space. The legs are bent at the top by 90 deg. to form the supports for the table top so that there are no dangerous sharp edges. The edges of the desk top are rounded to prevent damage to the surface.
