A continuous feed counter, is installed where there is a container for a stock of items which are fed part the counting mechanism to a delivery point, which is adapted to permit use with a variety of different items and the goods are fed to the counting channel by a rotary feed disc inclined to the horizontal. The discs are interchangeable and the inclination can be set to different values; the disc may have perforations allowing single items of a given size to pass through one by one, or may have a raised rim with a scoop to take out items one by one according to the nature of the goods to be handled.
