Phosphate triazinimido-phosphoric acid ester prepn. - from 1,3,5-trichloro-1-trichloro-phosphazo-1-phospha-2,4,6-triazine and epoxides and use esp. for flame-proofing plastics

Stable phosphate triazine-imido-phosphoric acid esters of formula (I): (where R is -CH2CHClR1 and R1 is H, Me,-CH2Cl, -CH2Br or Ph) are prepd. by reacting 1,3,5-trichloro-1-trichloro-phosphazo-1-phospha-2,4,6-triazine (II) with epoxides pref. propylene oxide, epichlorohydrin or epibromohydrin, in presence of catalysts, in a solvent, at opt. higher temp., pref. 0-150 (20-60) degrees C. (I) are flame-proofing agents for plastics, esp. compact and foamed polyurethane, and may be used in prepn. of pesticides, e.g. by reaction with isothiocyanates.
