Feed regulator for moving floor manure distributor - has feed rate sensor and floor feed declutching device

The purpose of the device is to prevent the blockage of the spreaders in a moving floor type manure distributor, due to uneven loading. This is carried out by means of a sensor in the form of an oscillating comb arranged above the spreaders in such a way that it will be acted upon by pressure from the load, when the latter is high enough to cause a blockage. The oscillating comb under load from a calibrated spring, is attached by a linkage to a unit uncoupling the drive from the spreaders to the ratchet floor drive mechanism. In this way the floor feed is stopped while the spreaders which are still operating can deal with the excess material.
