The adjusting device is intended for aligning of strip sheets, such as pole laminations a contact springs of relays. It has a clamping device in which the strips are held in a defined position in relation to a position scanner and to a bending lever. The latter is brought into engagement with the strips cyclically by means of a rotary shaft. The end of the bending lever, away from the clamping device, abuts a conical guide element on the shaft, which is longitudinally displaceable during the adjusting process, in order to obtain ever increasing bending strokes at the clamping device. The guide element has such deviations of a rotational symmetrical shape that the bending lever during each shaft revolution is brought into a neutral position, in which no bending of the strips takes place.
