Therapeutical brassiere comprises cups which hold the breasts up up to level of the nipples and which are connected by a web, a supporting band beneath the cups and extending around the wearer's back, and shoulder straps of adjustable length. The connecting web and cups correspond to the quadrantal contours of a rotational hyperboloid which continues on both sides in the form of spherical segments, and at least the cups consist of parallel axis strips of material. The outer edge of each shoulder strap is connected to the point of transition from the upper edge of the cup to the chest. At least the cups and connecting web are made of textile material which is not fully elastic.
