A folding photographic camera has the exact position of the camera constructional parts and photographic recording material defined by a three piece hinged metal support body which can then be mounted within a body housing. One part of the metal support is a U-shaped type mounting plate (1) having a cassette support projection (1a) as well as bearings (1c) for film transport and pressure rollers. Also on the mounting plate (1) are fixed the film transport device, locking device (1d) adjustment and storage section (1e) for the folding pieces of the metal body as well as the operating controls of the camera.
