Slide rule calculating scale - establishes the design criteria of reinforced concrete structures to requirements of german industrial codes

A slide rule calculating scale is designed to provide all relevant design criteria relating to the permissable loads, curvature, size of reinforcing rods, concrete cross-sections etc. for reinforced concrete structures. It is claimed that the scale simplifies the current procedure involving the use of nomograms, charts etc. In particular the scale fulfils the standards laid down in DIN 1045 (1972), specifically diagrams 13, 14 and 15, and also the general requirements of DIN 4224 (Tables 1 and 2, diagrams 4 and 12). The rule includes altogether twelve rows of scale graduations.
