Pyrotechnical sealing material consists of a cord having a sheath of elastomer that can be converted into a foam by heating, a core of combustible pyrotechnical material for converting into a foam, and a flexible cover separating cord from core. Material is used and shapes for sealing joints between two parts in a wide range of applications.
