Vinyl chloride polymers and copolymers stabilized with a lead compound and containing less than 3% by wt. (based on polymer) of titanium dioxide, contain a colorization-inhibiting amount up to 8% by wt. based on the titanium dioxide of one or more organic or inorganic compounds (distinct from the lead compound) of aluminium, silicon, cerium, lanthanum, beryllium, phosphorus or zinc. In an example are added dibasic lead stearate, titania and varying amounts of alumina and silica.
