Wrapping objects in band material - using device for holding back wrapped objects from gap formed by clamping equipment during stretching of band loop

Equipment for wrapping objects in a band of material includes two storage rollers for the band, clamping equipment for the band ends, welding equipment for joining the band ends and a pair of rollers for stretching the loop of the wrapping bands. Projecting in the band loop (11) is a back holding device (13) which has the form of the band run at the clamping position for the band ends and which is withdrawn in a direction parallel to the axis of the pair of rollers (1, 2). The back holding device (13) holds back the wrapped objects (18) from a gap formed by the clamping equipment (4, 6) during stretching of the band loop. The back holding device (13) is in the form of a rod or an angle (14) and is provided with a plastic sliding surface.
