Speech synthesis system from diphthongs and phonemes - uses time limit for stored diphthongs and their double application

The speech synthesis system has a store containing a large number of phonemes, which are used as basic building blocks for building up wordS. Composite sounds or diphthongs are used. All the known vowels and consonants can be built up. A control system is uded to regulate the order and time duration of the basic phonemes. It ensures that voiced and unvoiced sounds are arranged in their proper order; the time duration of the middle ortion of the unvoiced sounds are stored in digital form. The time duration of the stored diphthongs may be approx. 20% of the total time of transition between two deparate sounds.
