Public commuting traffic system with omnibuses - has guided tracks for wheels without flanges in dense traffic areas

The transport system has track transverse guides. The system has a load bearing track and a support structure with guiding faces. The vehicles have wheels without wheel flanges. At the track switching points the outside guide face is continuous and the inner ones are interrupted. The track is used for guiding omnibuses in densely populated areas. In less populated areas the omnibuses can drive on ordinary roads. The track has outside main guide webs (2, 5). The tracks have switch guide faces (17, 16) which are broken (at 18) in a longitudinal direction. Each switching point guide face is associated with the given outside main guide web and with a switching point guide web (15, 14).
