Cupboard support for ceramic wash basin - has recessed upper side to fit basin curvature and seal to bridge gap between basin and cupboard

The cupboard support unit for a wash basin is made from ceramic material fitted with suspension elements for its attachment to a wall. The upper side is made to correspond to the lower side of the appropriate wash basin. The cupboard has a cross section at least in the area of its upper side which is smaller than the base surface of the wash basin. It is positioned offset to the rear in relation to the front edge and the side edges whilst its upper side is recessed corresponding to the curvature of the lower side (2). The upper edges of the cupboard are fitted with devices (14) to bridge any gap towards the lower side of the wash basin.
