The ashtray ensures complete sealing and cover for the ashes accommodation chamber. It therefore prevents ash particles being blown about and also seals off any smells. The ashes accommodating vessel (2) has funnel-shaped ashes inlet (3). Into this funnel is fitted a closure plug (4). The chamber (2) can be spherical and the closure can be a droplet shaped plug. Alternatively, the ashes inlet can be formed into a detachable lid of the chamber itself.
