The system of vertically suspended links a builds into a vending display rack. All links (24) are identical and are joined by means of male (34) and female (35) formations at opposed ends. The male formation is in the form of a plate hook (34) which engages a closed vertical slot (35) in the link above. The link is of vertically elongated rectangular plate form. The male hook is formed by cutting an 'L' shaped slot (44), 46) in the top of the link. The leg (44) of the 'L' is enclosed by the link plate.
