The celing fan produces two conical air currents, one inside the other, and has blades (3) whose main axis is at an angle relative to the rotational fan axis and also the circular path of the arms (6) carrying the blades. The portions (4) of the arm carrying the blade can be adjusted by swivelling (5) it relative to the remainder of the arm (6) attached to the fan hub. The arm portion (4) may be telescopically adjustable (6, 7) relative to the hub arm.
