The control system is designed to adjust the position of a movable element by means of two separated driving operating elements. the adjustment of the movable element position can be made independent of the position of the first drive element. The control is especially designed for adjusting the position of air deflecting shutters in automobile heat and air conditioning systems. The system includes a planetary gear (3) which is actuated by a cable (1) which is the first drive element. This cable (1) acts on a movable shutter (4). The second drive element (7) is actuated by the arm of a lever (9) and a toothed sector (8) in contact with the planetary gear (3). The arm of the lever (9) is connected to a toothed sector (8) by a coupling spring (10). The second drive means consists of an encapsulated depression element (7, 11).
