Zinc electroextraction - from zinc sulphate soln using a periodic reverse current pulse

Process involves applying a reverse current for 0.5-3.5% of the current cycle at a frequency of 2.0-6.0 times/min; the soln. contains 100-220g/l. H2SO4 and 40-65g/l. Zn and the temp. is 35-50 degrees C. The method permits higher current densities.
