The pellet press has a horizontal matrix ring on the surface of which the pressing rollers travel. The lubrication of the pressing roller bearings is effected by centrifugal force. Oil is discharged by a lubricating pump (13) driven by gearing from vertical shaft (5). The oil is discharged onto the tapered surface (27) forming part of the hub (7) of the matrix ring (4). The lower part of the matrix ring is shaped as a centrifugal disc (6) serving for the despatch of the pressed out pellets through outlet spout (2). - The oil on the upper tapered part of the hub travels upwards due to the vertical component of the centrifugal force and enters the upper plane surface (25) via grooves (27) in the hub body. The sharp edge (26) of the plane surface catapults the oil onto the tapered recess (31) from where the oil reaches the bearings (19) via guide openings (32).
