Machine to close bags using a clip closure includes a swivelling clip application device which with the use of gathering devices moves the gathered in bags forward and closes them through the clip device during this forward movement. - The object of this invention is to increase the processing speed of the closure operation which is attained by moving the bag during the gathering operation enabling the next bag in line to be brought into the initial processing position.
