The appts. for the balance-metering of mixtures comprises a steelyard with one or more beams (29) on which a cursor moves in conjunction with a weight. The beam has several series of longitudinal graduations (14,15,16) corresponding with various positions of the cursor. Each series of graduations is calibrated in parts of a determined quantity of the mixture. The beam has a device which enables the series of graduations to be read-off directly, thus enabling a quantity of the given mixture to be metered out. Fine metering may be achieved by using two rigidly connected beams.
