Hydraulic manual control valve - uses electrical switch=over assembly to double number of servomotors controllable by one valve

The multi-position hand-operated valve is used for controlling several servomotors or power cylinders. The hand operated valve (1) consists of a housing (2) with four control slides actuated by manual (9) seated on the valve housing in a spherical joint allowing a tumbling motion of the lever thereby operating the four slides in pairs. The handle (16) fitted to the lever has a push button (17) to which a two-core electrical wire (18) is connected. The other end of the wire are connected to a switch over valve unit. In normal operation the hand lever controls a set of servomotors performing a certain pattern of functions. Keeping the button depressed with the same lever movements provides for a different set of servomotors.
