Pneumatic conveyor for bulk goods - in which transmission of explosion pressure waves is suppressed using pressure trap between two closures in pipeline

Installation is described to interrupt the transmission of the pressure wave of explosions in bulk material ina pipe conveyor system espec. pourable bulk goods such as dusty material or fluidised media. Pressure trap is in the form of two closure installations (20, 19) positioned one behind the other in the conveyor pipe (40, 50) and leaving on expansion space between them. One of the closure installations for the pressure trap is always in a position allowing free pasage for the conveyed material whilst at the same time the other closure installation is in a position closing the passage.
