Flat or slightly sloping fireproof roof - has fire protective layering pref. between cover and heat insulating layer

The fire protection is for flat or slightly sloped roofs, with no layers of gravel or panel terracing; the roof is single-skinned and heat-insulated. Fires originating in the roof, and fire spread, are prevented. For this purpose one or more layers (4, 20) forming a fire protective coating, in the roof structure layering, are pref. sited between the top covering layer (3) and the heat insulating layer (5). They may have self-adhesive qualities or may be pressed onto the heat insulation, using fixing fishplates (7). This is esp. effective in preventing spread of outbreaks of fire involving high temperatures. Almost any sort of non-flammable material can be used.
