Electronic max. unit transfer triggering arrangement - eliminates multiple transfers using trigger blocking for defined period after transfer

A method is used for effecting transfers in electronic max. units in which monthly maxima are manually transferred into an accumulator. It is designed to prevent multiple transfers in the event of intentional or unintentional multiple manual operations of the triggering mechanism. After each successful triggering operation the max. unit trigger input is blocked for a defined period, e.g. the duration of a measurement period. If the unit has an electronic display transfer triggering is only successful if the display is switched off.
