The instrument has A/D convertors for digital displays of several characteristic parameters of a voltage and for visual display on a CRT of its variation in time. Figures are also displayed on the CRT screen. Signal flow generated by the input voltage (U1) is applied from a measurement input (1) to a number of channels (2, 3) equal to or smaller than the number of parameters to be measured. Channels (2, 3) operate independently from each other and comprise circuit groups (21, 31, 33) whose output voltages are functions of the input voltage determined by the parameter measured in the respective channel. These signals are applied to A/D converters (23, 34). A voltage alternating component is applied to a built-in CRO as analogue voltage.
