This apparatus for injecting a substance into the fallopian tubes comprises a body 57 enclosing an air compression cylinder and a piston sliding in this cylinder and actuated by a pusher with the interposition of a low characteristic spring which limits pressure and maintains it at its maximum value. The pressure is transmitted to a balloon 43 mounted at the end of a probe introduced into the uterus. At a certain stage of its movement, the pusher drives a rod which crushes an ampoule 69 placed in a housing 74 to inject the substance into a small tube 71 threaded in the axis of the probe and which opens into a transverse passage 52 to send this substance in the tubes 23 and 24. A snap prevents the rod from going backwards thus preventing the substance from flowing back from the tubes through the tube 71. According to an advantageous feature, the probe is interchangeable.
