The thermoswitch has a temperature-sensitive bimetal element controlling a snap-action contact system with two stable positions (on/off). The element consists of a snap-action bimetal disc and is separate from the snap-action contact system to which it is linked by a post. The contact system consists of a first member (31) pivoted at its free end to a second member (32) and a spring (30) drawing the two members together. The free end of the second member carries a contact button that moves between two fixed contacts (28, 19).
