A floating storage facility for oil and liquified gas has a series of cylindrical storage tanks set inside double skinned walls, with the hollow spaced between the walls used for buoyancy. The structure extends to a working platform above the water surface and down to ballast tanks under the storage tanks. Each tank can be filled separately, with separate trimming of its ballast tank. Water seepage collects in the space between the walls and is pumped awy.
