Roasting and baking oven with indirectly heated muffles - adapted to ecological requirements of developing countries

Roasting and baking muffles of an oven are welded into a fluid-tight housing, spaced some distance from each other and from the side walls, top and bottom of the housing. In its lower zone the housing has a central heating arrangement. Pref. the housing has a filling of a heat conveying medium such as a heat resisting oil, which is brought into contact with a heat source such as a burner, combustion chamber, hot gas ducts, etc. beneath the lowest suffle. The oven is intended for use in developing countries, where, over very large areas there is no electric power available and efforts are being made to restrict the enormous consumption of wood.
