摘要

The arrangement interrupts the fuel supply via the main carburettor jet (4) of a supercharged combustion engine in the event of failure of the external ignition. The supply line (3) to this jet (4) contains a shut-off valve (5) operated by a diaphragm (13) between two pressure chambers (14, 15) in a housing (12). The pressure in the first chamber (14) tends to close the valve and this chamber is continuously connected (17) to the charging pressure. The second chamber (15) is connected to an elector-pneumatic valve (19) which admits (20) the charge pressure when the ignition operates, and a vacuum (21) when it fails.
