Reversible tie has two differently designed fabric layers between which is diposed a stiffening layer having the same outline as the tie. One of the layers is folded about the outline of the stiffening layer and folded over the layer to which it is attached jointly with the other layer by a concealed seam. The stiffening layer may be provided along its edges with saw-toothed projections forming attachments with the fabric layers. Pref. the concealed seams extend parallel to the outline edges of the tie.
