Personal dosimeter for neutron radiation has four units - for detecting gamma, thermal neutron, epithermal neutron and fast neutron radiation

A personal radiation dosimeter for neutron radiation comprises four dosimeter units (I-IV), each contg. at its centre a thermofluorescent dosimeter element; the thermofluorescent dosimeter elements of the first three units (I-III) are sensitive both to thermal neutrons and to gamma radiation, while the dosimeter element of the fourth unit is sensitive only to gamma radiation. The dosimeter element of the first unit has a tin filter in front of it and a cadmium filter behind the element of the second unit has a cadmium filter in front and a tin filter behind, and the element of the third unit has cadmium filter both in front and behind. The element of the fourt unit has tin filters both in front and behind.
